Sustainable Gardening
Author Amy Stewart will talk about Becoming More Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly, on Saturday, May 31, 10 a.m. to noon, at Van de Camp Hall, Descanso Botanic Garden, 1418 Descanso Drive, in La Canada. Amy will discusses sustainability in horticulture -- from garden clubs, conservation societies, and civic beautification groups through the global industry -- and how individuals, businesses, and organizations can adopt more environmentally friendly practices.
